Loon is from the Baan Sam Prow village in Thailand and has been making textiles since she was thirteen years old. She has been crafting lovely fabrics for over twenty years. She is a single mother to three children and also takes care of her mother. While experiencing various challenges throughout her life, such as her husband leaving her family five years ago, she has remained resilient in providing support for her family by working multiple jobs. When she isn’t making beautiful textiles, you can find her tending to rice fields during the rice growing season. She is immensely skilled in her textile craft with fast hands and the ability to see a sketch and form the pattern soon after with ease. Same Thread is so thankful for Loon and the beauty she fashions with her hands.
